The spirit of election year politics has now, unfortunately, made its way into the speaker voting contest for No Excuses 3!

It started with a scathing “tell all” report from the Tim Erway Campaign Headquarters, intended to “expose an evil plot by a diabolical marketing cabal that is conspiring to destroy all that is good in the world“.

At the top of his “smear hitlist” were No Excuses organizers, Ferny Ceballos and Raymond Fong, with accusations of “tequila boarding” with Jose Cuervo, and “evil voting scheme”.

For the rest of the message, he goes on a tirade accusing Daegan Smith of being a “white supremacist”, David Wood a “mind control CIA operative”, Todd Falcone a “cross dressing Mafia cannabis smuggler”, Ann Sieg a “powerful Washington lobbyist”, Mark Hoverson as the only guy “Chuck Norris is afraid of” and most slanderous of all, exposing Ray Higdon to be an “alien”!!! Ray Higdon fired back with a rebuttal of his own not only firing back at at the Tim Erway Campaign, but viciously attacking surprise top contender and newcomer, Pamela Herrmann – a clear frontal assault on those that threaten his #1 contender status.

He then states 15 reasons to vote for him, shamelessly offering bribes and making outlandish campaign promises, which he likely won’t be able to keep. (Click here for the Higdon Campaign Rebuttal)

Finally, just yesterday, Michelle Pesco…pital..sido… err… ALPHA… Michelle Alpha! Dammit…

The Michelle Alpha Campaign put out a press release with not 15, but 16 reasons to vote for her with attacks on Tim Erway and Ferny Ceballos, while confessing that she is in fact the “love child” of Mark Hoverson and Ray Higdon.

Things are getting ugly and that’s the way we like it!

In all seriousness, things are coming down to the wire, no speaking spot is safe as newcomers are already raking up votes and catching up FAST to industry superstars!

Within the past 24 hours, Geoff Stephen has surged from 0 to 188 votes, completely crushing the record set by Dean Kosage just 24 hours before!

Deadline for nominations is this Tuesday, 1/24 at Noon PST.

Deadline for voting is the following week, Tuesday, 1/31 at Midnight.

Many factors will play into who our expert panel chooses to speak at No Excuses 3, however the voting has been a powerful indicator on who is capable of drawing a crowd and bringing excitement to the biggest event of the year.
