Russell Brunson started his online business five years ago when he was a student and wrestler at Boise State University. His first product was a DVD teaching people how to build a potato launcher. The Utah native became fascinated with online marketing and tried every product and course he could get his hands on before coming up with his own system. With $20 and a simple idea, he sold more than a million dollars of his own products and services within a year of graduating.
Russell’s company, DotComSecrets.com (http://www.dotcomsecrets.com/) has grown from a very small one-man shop in his basement to a major online business with over 60 employees and more than $10 million in annual sales. Today it teaches tens of thousands of students from all over the world to start, build and promote their businesses online.
Russell has been featured on ABC, NBC and Fox news teaching beginners how to start their own online businesses.
His courses and products include 12 Month Internet Millionaire and Micro-Continuity, a six-month video coaching program that shows people how to start an online business in as little as 24 to 48 hours. An avid wrestler, Russell is chasing his dream of wrestling in the 2012 Olympics. He bought a gym and brought top Olympic wrestlers to Boise to work for his companies and train with him, while paying for 12 wrestlers to compete for a spot in the Olympics.
A father of three young children, Russell is also starting a program to create wrestling clubs in Boise schools. With all his accomplishments, Russell’s focus remains on one thing – the success of his students. His greatest pride is in seeing others use the systems he developed to create wealth online.
